I hope everyone is having a great day. I posted this super cute mani on my Instagram page two days ago, and would just like to share a little bit about how I created it! These were completely inspired my @nailsbysophiaa!
I started out with bare nails and I carefully placed my Super Skinny Straight Vinyls that I purchased from nailvinyls.com onto my nails with some tweezers. For the big X in the center of the nails I used 1 whole vinyl and for the rest I was able to cut them in half and use them that way. I made sure they were completely adhered to my nail by pressing them down, and then I painted 1 thick coat of Wet N Wild's 'French White Creme' over top. I then peeled the vinyls off with some tweezers so I wouldn't accidentally bump the nail. 1 crucial step when using vinyls is to remove the vinyl while the polish is still wet, doing so will insure that you get a nice clean line.
Once I removed the vinyls I went in with a very small cleanup brush dipped in 100% acetone and cleaned up the lines a little bit more. Once it was dry I applied my favorite top coat and that was it! If you have any questions just let me know and I'll be more than happy to answer!
