Welcome to my blog!

My name is Alexa, I am a college student and I am also a nail polish fanatic. I have been painting my nails for quite some time now. I first got interested in nail polish when I was in the 8th Grade, and have loved it ever since! I have always wanted to start a blog but never had the courage to start one. But I finally did (yay!) This blog is where I will be sharing everything about polish, Tutorials, Swatches, Reviews, and more! I would love if you followed my blog as well as my Instagram!

Here are 20 facts about me:

1. I am a college student and my major is Psychology. My ultimate goal in life is to become a Psychiatrist (and the best manicured one at that!)

2. I LOVE NETFLIX. Like for real I do. Some of my favorite shows are The X-Files, Grey's Anatomy, Weeds, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Dexter, Criminal Minds, Bates Motel, etc.

3. I am a huge coffee drinker. Wether it's cold or hot I love it. In fact I'm drinking some as I'm writing this post!

4. I have a Miniature Poodle that I love with all my heart. I have had her for 9 years and she will be 10 this August.

5. I was born in Michigan but now live in Texas.

6.  I am the middle child. I have one older sister and one younger sister. No brothers.

7. I am a huge home body. I would much rather have a relaxing day at home than go out.

8. My birthday is September 4.

9. I love animals. They just make me happy and it's nice seeing how animals remain the same even though humanity has changed drastically. They give me hope in the world.

10. Both of my parents were born and raised in Mexico, and I am proud of where I come from.

11. I never sleep straight through the night, I usually wake up 2-3 times.

12. I have a cherry red Ford Fiesta and I love it, it's the perfect size and it's so cute!

13. Italian and Mexican food are my absolute favorites. Give me some Lasagna or some Enchiladas and I'm a happy girl!

14. I love food but am currently on a weight loss journey and hoping to develop healthy habits.

15. I have a Herniated Disc in my lower back. This is what mine looks like. It's protruding out and pinching my Sciatic Nerve making the pain run from my lower back all the way down to my toes. It's on my left side.

I've had a herniated disc for almost a year now. It's the worst pain I've ever had to endure in my life and it's definitely been a very rough year with medicines, shot after shot, doctor's visits, endless pain, tossing and turning at night, it's been very very rough. I am currently attending a Pain Management Clinic and getting Lumbar Spine Epidurals to see if they can stop the pain from radiating down my leg. This is basically my last hope. If this doesn't work then the only thing left is to undergo surgery and have the disc removed. I am honestly a little scared about this but I'm praying to God everything turns out fine with the epidurals.

16. I love music. Some of my favorite bands and artists are: The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Smashing Pumpkins, Foster The People, Iggy Azalea, Lana Del Rey, Jimi Hendrix, Landon Austin, Theory of a Deadman and so on.

17. I am pretty tall for a girl, I am 5 '8.

18. I am obsessed I mean OBSESSED with Diet Coke. I drink it minimum 2 times a day, I know it's so bad but I can't get enough.

19. I try my best everyday to be a positive and overall happy person. I want to inspire people to be happy.

20. I speak both English and Spanish fluently.
